International travel from India doesn't have to mean spending lakhs. With smart planning, you can explore another country for less than a Goa trip during peak season. The key is choosing the right destinations, booking at the right time, and knowing where to spend and where to save.

Cheapest International Destinations from India

Sri Lanka (₹25,000-40,000 for 5 days): Direct flights from Chennai and Bangalore under ₹8,000 return. No visa needed for Indians (30-day ETA is free). Sigiriya, Ella train journey, Galle Fort, and whale watching in Mirissa. Budget accommodation at ₹1,500-2,500/night.

Money-Saving Travel Hacks
